Precycling 2010: wk 6
Amy Posted on | February 11, 2010 | No Comments Sometimes the biggest lessons are the simplest. When I was in high school, the book All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten by Robert Fulghum, was a huge sensation. It was an a ha moment for many. The book and title essay inspired people to take a moment, think back, and ponder our complex lives in simple terms. Share everything, clean up your own mess, and put things back where you found them are some of the lessons we all learned in that first year of school. So this week, let’s take things retro, keep it simple, and head on over to Planet Pal’s Precycling page. They spell it out in elementary terms. If you have kids in the house, round them up and take a moment to think about precycling together. Take a LOOK around, have a child (or your inner one) lead the way. They will show you how simple it is. Take a moment to think about your buying habits, maybe during snack time. What can we all do, both young and old, to ‘pre’ think our purchases and how we use our resources?
